Please Note: In honor of our 10th Anniversary we are stepping up the game that will hopefully make you step up your game. You now have the option to do the Salsa Survival Challenge taught by Nelson Flores, The Bachata Survival Challenge taught by by Ataca Jorgie and La Alemana of Island Touch or both which will be taught at different times designed so you can do both. If you decide to do both, be prepared to perform at least 3 times on stage.
Only the strong survives in New York. If the streets don’t get you, then the SALSA will!!!

| The 4th Annual NYISC Survival Challenge is a program where the title says it all. It’s designed primarily for the average Joe or Jane, meaning a typical spectator/ Salsa Congress attendee. The challenge is can you, the average Joe or Jane along with others who signed up who you possible won’t know, learn a choreography from 1-2 hours in just 3 days by a well respected instructor and perform it LIVE as a featured team on stage in the early and late evening performance showcases on the last and most popular night which is Sunday. |

Participants are required to bring a comfortable pair of blue jeans, a black shirt or blouse and a comfortable pair of black jeans and black dance shoes or sneakers(preferably shoes)to wear in the performance showcase on stage.
This program is set up to give you, either him or her a possible once in a lifetime experience and chance to solve their curious thoughts of would they be strong willed enough and/or have what it takes to survive performing what you learned on stage in front of a whole audience. Lastly this will definitely help you build your confidence on and off the dance floor because at the end of this you can say, “I Did It”. Just imagine, your audience will be over 3000 people. That’s over 6000 eyes watching every move you make. It takes a lot of guts…have any? So are you up for a CHALLENGE?
DON’T THINK ABOUT IT, JUST DO IT!!! |
