A Salsa Congress is a multi-day (3 days
4 nights) celebration of Latin dance and music much like
any conference or convention with the overall focus to unit,
develop and educate Salsa dancers and Latin music enthusiast.
There main goals are to bring people from many different
cultures, places and social circles together to establish
a sense of community, to expose people to different styles
of dance, to inspire participants to achieve a higher level
of knowledge, expression, and to share the passion for Latin
music and dancing. Everyone in all ages from that person
who has never danced in his life to the Professional is welcome.
A Salsa Congress is composed of several main elements including:
- World renowned and local dance instructors teaching
workshops in all levels during the days and afternoons
- World renowned and local dance teams or couples presenting
their high quality performances during the evenings
- Social dancing to live bands and DJs every evening playing
the best in Salsa, Cha-Cha-Cha, and Latin Jazz. after the
dance showcase usually held till 4 AM
